Every time Lola wakes up Ava runs to her bed. She climbs in and plays with her Sodsri (pronounced So-See, her middle name). She calls it her job. If she doesn't hear Lola I will tell her Lola's awake. As she runs toward where Lola is, yelling, thank you mommy for telling me Sodsri awake, I no hear her!
Today as I go in to retrieve my two girls Lola looks up to me as she is climbing all over her sister. She raises her arms and begins to clap, smiling as if so proud of herself. This is the first time I have seen her clap. I'm not sure who taught her, maybe it was all of us. As we happily clapped when she started waving and maybe, just maybe held up her little finger announcing she is 1, when asked how old she is.
I'm just sad her daddy missed this first, and by a mere 3 minutes.
