I still need some pointers in using my aperture so I will be hitting up Nathan more in the future.

My First lesson in Depth of Field
While at the Dallas Arboretum I hit Nathan up on a lesson in photography. I really wanted to learn how to take pictures using the depth of field (DOF). This was my first success using my Apeture setting on my camera correctly. In the first picture you can see it's nice and clear, with a great depth of field.
In this picture below you see only his hand is clear and the background is nice and blurry, a shallow depth of field. When I took this picture I was jumping up and down so excited I finally got it right. I have tried in the past to get this type of shot, with no luck.

I still need some pointers in using my aperture so I will be hitting up Nathan more in the future.
