I wanna

I want to learn how to knit.
I want to learn how to sew.

I already got one good lesson in with my mom on the sewing. So far I have cut out the fabric to 2 dresses for Ava, both of which my mom has sewed. So I bought this pattern on Etsy and asked my mom if she can make. Not exactly learning how to sew on my part I know.
Now in learning how to knit.
I first tried to learn how to crochet in June. Jennifer & Jill both tried to teach me. My scarf ended up in Jennifer's hands and then back home with her to never be seen again. That's how bad I was.
So now to knitting.
I try watching some videos on line and they seem really confusing. However I plan on conquering this one and bought a pattern from Etsy. Isn't it perfect? OK, I know this won't be the first thing to attempt to knit, I'll probably go with a simple scarf for Ava. I will aspire to this hat though.
