Ava and Noah's birthday celebration

This year we decided not to have a big birthday party for Ava. We did however decide to go to Wimberly and celebrate her turning 6 with her cousin Noah. Noah is only 3 weeks younger then her. She was very excited to do this. Kathleen and Wes were the only ones able to make the trip. Unfortunately Brent and Jill had to work that weekend.

Jennifer booked a great house for us to stay in. Which is where we had the party.

Ava was so sweet and opened every card and read them before she tore into the present.  

Dinner on the pier

Dad was tour guide the entire time, which was great. That night we went to dinner by the ocean. The girls loved it and enjoyed the pier afterward.

Visit to my dad's

Our first visit to my dads as a family. It took a few years to convince me to make the trip because I was terrified of the drive with small children. My fears were confirmed on this 9+ hours of driving. Lola not napping the entire time, stops all along the way with Lola getting sick as soon as we get there at midnight.


Luckily the next day was perfect. Girls were in a great mood and Otto did awesome.
We started off my going to the beach.

Last day of school for Ava

On the last day of school for Ava a friend at her yearly pool party. We were happy to go and beat the heat. Ava loves spending time with her friends and everyone had a great time.

This is Jeremiah, and he lives here. He is a grade above Ava.

Anthony and Ryann, siblings of Wallace kids. Anthony was in Lola's class at CCDC. Ryann is Jeremiah's little sister. They will start Wallace the same time as Lola.

Here is Dominic, he just finished 3rd grade and is the big brother of the house. He loves Otto, it's sweet to see him interact with him on the playground.

Night before Preschool

 Lola was so cute getting ready for school the night before. She was taking it all in and was so quiet!

Ava was a proud sister as always and had to get in on the picture!

Reverchon Park

I went to Reverchon park with the family to scout out the location for a future photo shoot. We had a fun time on our urban hike. It had rained that day and was threatening to rain some more. Luckily it just drizzled a little. In the end we ended up with some memorable shots of the girls.
