Chuck E. Cheese

Ava is 6! I asked her where she wanted to go for her birthday and she chose Chuck E. Cheese with her friend Sophia.

Wimberly in June

We decided to leave my dads a day early. I was too traumatized by the drive up. Jennifer was in Wimberly at a cabin and said we should come stay with them. After a fun filled day at the aquarium we loaded the car up and hit the road. The kids slept most of the way which is always nice.

When we finally pulled in 3 hours later poor Noah was sadly sitting outside in the dirt. You could tell he needed his cousins to play with. The girls were ecstatic to see him too.

We headed out to have lunch at a BBQ place then they gave us a tour of Wimberly.

They drove us by this church that was moved here and turned into a B&B. It is beautiful.

Then they gave us a tour of their land and took us to the river that they have private access with their neighbors.

The next morning, Father's day we woke up and saw deer in the backyard and went in the hot tub. Poor Ava got a little dehydrated from the hot tub. It was a fun visit and we were sad to leave.

Dinner on the pier

Dad was tour guide the entire time, which was great. That night we went to dinner by the ocean. The girls loved it and enjoyed the pier afterward.

Day 2 at Dad's

The second day dad took us to the aqarium. It was perfect. The girls really enjoyed petting the sting rays and seeing the dolphins up close.

Visit to my dad's

Our first visit to my dads as a family. It took a few years to convince me to make the trip because I was terrified of the drive with small children. My fears were confirmed on this 9+ hours of driving. Lola not napping the entire time, stops all along the way with Lola getting sick as soon as we get there at midnight.

Luckily the next day was perfect. Girls were in a great mood and Otto did awesome.
We started off my going to the beach.
